About Me.

In my clinical work, I place great importance on adhering to safeguarding principles and following data protection guidelines. I recognise the significance of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information in a responsible manner. Understanding the complexities associated with managing such information is crucial to ensuring the well-being and privacy of the individuals involved. By upholding these principles and guidelines, I strive to create a safe and trustworthy environment for my clients, fostering their trust and confidence in our therapeutic relationship.

 

As a dance movement psychotherapist and dance artist, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals spanning various age groups, including children, young adults, adults, and seniors. This diverse range of experiences has enriched my understanding and skills in facilitating therapeutic movement sessions. Through these interactions, I have witnessed the profound impact that dance and movement can have on individuals of different ages, fostering self-expression, personal growth, and overall well-being. This broad spectrum of clientele has allowed me to adapt and tailor my approaches to meet the unique needs and developmental stages of each individual, deepening my appreciation for the transformative power of dance and movement therapy across the lifespan.

I was awarded the National Arts Council Arts Scholarship (Postgraduate) 2021- Singapore to pursue my postgraduate studies in Dance Movement Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths, University of London.

2017 - 2019

BA (Hons) Dance
LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore

I am the inaugural recipient of the Wu Peihui Dance Award and graduated with First Class Honours from the BA (Hons) Dance Programme at LASALLE College of the Arts. Additionally, I achieved the highest Grade Average for the cohort of 2019 and was awarded the LASALLE Award for Academic Excellence (BA category). 

2014 - 2017

Diploma in Dance

LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore

I graduated with Distinction from the Diploma in Dance program and received the LASALLE Scholarship for the year 2016/2017. Additionally, I was awarded with the LASALLE Award for Academic Excellence (Diploma category), achieving the highest Grade Average within the 2017 cohort.
